Tuesday, 8 October
18:30 – 22:00 EST

The Networking Reception will be hosted at the end of the first day of the conference, Tuesday 8 October, in one of Toronto’s most unique cultural venue spaces, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Opened in 1914, ROM showcases art, culture and nature from around the world and across the ages, and is Canada’s preeminent museum and one of the largest museums in North America.

Mingle and network with fellow delegates whilst exploring the permanent collection which features more than 13 million artworks, cultural objects and natural history specimens. The galleries of Chinese architecture and culture, the Gallery of Korean Art, minerology and costumes and textile collections are some of the ROM collections considered amongst the best in the world. The Daphne Cockwell Gallery dedicated to First Peoples Art and Culture, a space led by Indigenous museum experts and community leaders, shares lifeways, cultural expressions, and worldviews from Indigenous perspectives with more than 1,000 artworks and cultural belongings on display, from across the lands also known as Canada.

Join us for this fantastic occasion to meet your peers, make new contacts, and relax whilst sipping Canada’s famous ice wine and enjoying locally sourced culinary delights.
