Visa information

When planning your travel to Canada, it is essential to understand the entry requirements based on your country of origin. Some delegates may need a visa, while others require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

We highly recommend that individuals from visa-required countries apply for their visa as soon as possible to ensure sufficient processing time for the conference.

Please note: average processing times are available here, and for some origin countries can be up to several months.

For further guidance on Canadian entry regulations, please refer to the resources provided below. If you require a visa invitation letter, please contact us at events@unpri.org.
PRI will not be liable in the event that you are unable to attend the Conference due to failing the entry requirements.

Please refer to our cancellation policy before booking if you are unsure you will receive your visa in time.

We acknowledge that PRI in Person 2024, hosted at the MTCC and ROM, is taking place on the ancestral lands of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, since time immemorial to today.
