Speaking opportunities

PRI in Person operates a formal Call for Speakers process for any external organisation interested in putting forward an expert speaker to participate in the conference.

The form to register interest in speaking at the 2024 conference was open until 31 May and has now closed.

Please note that we typically receive a very large number of responses to the Call for Speakers, and this year received in excess of 300 applications. As well as considering these incoming responses, the PRI also proactively reaches out to prospective speakers. Unfortunately, we therefore anticipate that we will only be able to accommodate a small proportion of respondents to the Call for Speakers, and it will not always be possible to give a reason why a particular application has not been successful. It may also be difficult to provide a clear deadline by which we will be able to confirm whether an application has been successful, although of course respondents are welcome to withdraw their applications at any time.

If you wish to attend as a delegate, we encourage you to register before being invited as a speaker, in order not to miss out, in case the conference sells out. Should you be selected as a speaker (subject to internal approval) your registration fee will be refunded.

We acknowledge that PRI in Person 2024, hosted at the MTCC and ROM, is taking place on the ancestral lands of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, since time immemorial to today.
