1. Who should attend PRI in Person?

PRI in Person is open to anyone with an interest in responsible investment. The majority of our attendees are representing asset owners, investment managers and service providers. We also welcome many others, including policy makers, civil society and academic representatives.

2. How do I register for this event?

To make your registration process seamless, PRI utilises the Hive Platform, which streamlines registration, content sharing, and networking. If you have not registered for PRI in Person or any other events on the Hive Platform with your current email address, you'll need to create a new registration.

To begin, click the “Register | Log in” button located in the top right-hand corner of the webpage or scroll down to find the "Register" section. You'll then be prompted to enter your contact details, complete the payment process, and receive a confirmation email.

If you've previously registered on the Hive Platform, simply use the "Log in" option instead. 

Once your registration is complete, you can log back in at any time to make changes to your booking.

3. How many people can register from the same organisation?

In-person registrations are limited to a maximum of seven (7) employees per organisation.
 
If your organisation is a sponsor or partner of PRI in Person 2024, please coordinate internally before attempting to register, as your organisation may be entitled to an allocation of complimentary tickets. If you are unsure if your organisation is a sponsor, you can find a list of all sponsors here.

4. What happens if I cannot attend anymore?

If you need to cancel your registration and it is before the cancellation deadline of Friday, 13 September 2024 16:00 BST / 11:00 EDT, you can do this by clicking on the ‘register | log in’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen. This will take you to your registration summary, where you will then need to click the ‘Cancel or amend registration’ link.

5. Who should select an ‘Individual’ registration type?

A delegate who is between jobs, retired or due to any other reason will not represent any particular organisation at PRI in Person should register with the registration type 'Individual'.

6. What is the language of PRI in Person?

PRI in Person is an English-language event with a global audience. For Toronto 2024, we want to ensure the conference is respectful and reflective of the Canadian context as a bilingual country and will support the inclusion of Francophone speakers on the agenda. During the sessions, we intend to have subtitles available.

7. Are there speaking opportunities available at PRI in Person?

The conference programme is developed in conjunction with the PRI’s subject matter specialists, alongside our advisory groups composed of signatories and stakeholders, to reflect the latest industry trends and strategic concerns across the responsible investment ecosystem. Speakers are invited at the PRI’s discretion. If you feel that you could make a valuable contribution to the conference as a speaker, please find more information on how to apply on our speaking opportunities page. Please note that submission of an application does not provide any guarantee of a speaking slot.

8. How do I get involved in the “Meet your peers” page?

Make sure to opt in by ticking the relevant box during registration to appear on the “Meet your peers” page. You can also add a mini biography and photo during registration. Click here to access the “Meet your peers” page. If you’re looking for someone from a specific company, or with a particular job title, you can use the search bar to bring up attendees that match your criteria. 

If you haven't opted in during registration, you can easily amend your registration by logging into your registration and selecting ‘Edit your networking details’ link, including adding or updating your bio/photo.

9. Can I register on behalf of a colleague?

Yes. To register on behalf of a colleague, please select this option on the first page of registration. You will then be asked to enter your own email and your colleague’s (the delegate’s) email. After this point, all details entered should be the delegate’s details. The PRI in Person event account will be set up with your colleague’s email address. If you need to log back into this account at a later point, you will need to enter your colleague’s email address and password created during registration. 

10. What is included in the digital ticket? 

Delegates who purchase the digital ticket will have access to participate remotely via the Hive Platform. This access will include a combination of live and on-demand content, including: livestreaming of plenary sessions, a dedicated livestreaming host, exclusive live interactive content featuring our expert speakers and on-demand access to selected breakout sessions. 

11. Will the sessions be recorded?

Selected breakout sessions will be recorded and made available on the Hive Platform for all digital and in-person ticket holders between 24hrs and 48hrs of the session taking place. 

On-demand access to recordings will be available to purchase for non-attendees following the event.  

12. How do I view the recordings?

If you have already registered for this event, please login and then click the ‘Watch on-demand’ tab in the navigation bar. If you are experiencing difficulties accessing the recordings, please contact the support team at events@unpri.org.

13. What if I have forgotten my password, cannot find it, or would like to update it?

If you are unable to locate your password, please go to the login page and then click "Forgotten password" in the existing users box. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

14. What web browser should I use?

For the optimum viewing experience, we recommend using Google Chrome as your web browser to access the event platform and the live stream. If you need to install Chrome on your company machine, please contact your company's IT Support. If you can’t install Chrome, we recommend you have the latest version of the browser you’re currently using. 

15. What should I do if the page is not responding when I try to log in?

If you are currently using Internet Explorer, please try to log in from Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. If you continue to have problems logging in or are already using one of the suggested browsers, please email the support team at events@unpri.org.

16. Who can I contact for assistance?

For any technical issues, please contact the support team at events@unpri.org who will be happy to assist with your query. 

For any agenda or speaker-related questions, please contact the PRI events team at events@unpri.org.

The Information and Delegate app desks located at Registration on Level 600 of the South Building in the MTCC will be there to help in-person delegates.

18. Who should attend the PRI Academic Network Conference?

The PRI Academic Network Conference is open to anyone with an interest in academic research on responsible investment themes. The majority of our attendees are investors and academics (including professors and students). The conference is a unique opportunity for academics and investors to engage with each other, learn, and discuss their latest research and experiences. This year, it will be hosted on Wednesday and Thursday 9-10 October, as part of PRI in Person. 
 
Access to the Academic Network Conference is included as part of your PRI in Person ticket. It is not possible to register separately for the Academic Network Conference.

19. Visa Info

Most visitors to Canada require either a Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Please check your requirements and likely processing time here. For more information, please visit Visa Information page.  

20. What are the COVID-19 requirements for travel to Toronto?

21. What is the Hive platform?

Hive is Live Group's Proprietary Delegate Management System, that facilitates registration, content sharing and networking for PRI in Person attendees

We acknowledge that PRI in Person 2024, hosted at the MTCC and ROM, is taking place on the ancestral lands of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, since time immemorial to today.
